About Tubbs

Tubbs is a London-based dessert platform championing Britain’s independent makers — the small-batch producers crafting ice cream, gelato and sorbet you won’t find in the big supermarket chains.

And this is only the start. Throughout 2026 and beyond, we’ll be introducing even more small-batch desserts and sweet creations from new independent Makers across the UK.

Every dessert on Tubbs is made by an independent British Maker — small teams crafting in their own kitchens and studios, using their own recipes, methods and high-quality ingredients.

No mass production. No supermarket-style tubs. Just real people making exceptional desserts in small batches.

“Independent Desserts” means every tub we deliver comes from a small-batch British maker who isn’t stocked in the big national supermarket chains.

These makers craft their own recipes, produce in limited batches, and stay true to their own methods — not mass-market standards.

Some may supply a handful of local shops in their home region, which is normal for an artisanal business, but none are widely distributed or mass-produced.

Tubbs exists to champion these makers, celebrate their craft, and bring their hard-to-find flavours straight to your door.

North London is home for Tubbs — and for its founder.

It’s where the idea started and where our cold-storage hub and delivery routes operate today. We cover most N and selected NW postcodes, with E and EN coming soon.

Ordering & Delivery

We currently deliver to selected North London, North-West London and Enfield postcodes, including Finchley, Muswell Hill, Barnet, Highgate, Crouch End and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Minimum order value is £19.95

Orders are delivered on Fridays & Saturdays (10AM-4PM).

You’ll receive a morning/afternoon slot the night before, and a 2-hour ETA on the day • Someone must be home to receive your frozen order.

Note: Orders are delivered Friday & Saturday

Your order is transported in temperature-controlled boxes, and our zero-emission cargo bikes are fitted with in-vehicle freezers to keep everything perfectly frozen until it reaches your door.

Because we deliver frozen products, someone must be available to receive your order.

We’ll send your delivery window in advance — if you need to reschedule, please contact us before your slot.

Products & Home Storage

Each tub includes a best before date on the label. Once opened, we recommend enjoying it within 2–3 weeks.

No — once melted, ice cream, gelato, or sorbet must not be refrozen for food safety reasons.

Most of our products are vegetarian, and several are vegan or dairy-free. You can filter by dietary preference when browsing The Tubbs Shop.

Some products are made without nuts or gluten, but our Makers often produce their desserts in kitchens where allergens are present. As a result, Tubbs cannot guarantee any product is completely free from allergens.

Each product listing includes allergen and ingredient information provided directly by the Maker. However, recipes may change without notice — so if you have a serious allergy or intolerance, you must always check the product label before consuming.

Some of our Makers qualify for a small-scale artisan exemption and are therefore not required to provide full nutritional information. This allows them to focus on crafting exceptional, small-batch products using traditional methods. If you need clarification, you’re welcome to contact us.

Subscriptions will be launching in mid-2026, offering flexible deliveries of your favourite flavours and exclusive access to new Maker releases.

Yes — Tubbs Gift Boxes will be available in 2026, allowing you to send curated selections of artisan desserts with a personalised note — perfect for birthdays, celebrations, and thoughtful surprises.

Yes — from Spring 2026, Tubbs will offer a tubs-only ice cream experience, perfect for offices, team socials, corporate events, or private gatherings. Each event features pre-portioned 110–125ml mini tubs from our independent makers — no scooping, no mess, just small-batch joy.
